The next step in understanding population dynamics: comprehensive numerical simulation
Check out our new chapter reviewing the applications of numerical simulation to population genetics. The new software Mendel’s Accountant is used to demonstrate several population genetic phenomena, including selective interference between competing beneficial mutations and the selective threshold (breakdown of purifying selection for very slightly deleterious mutations).
